Mama and Baby Hanna in White and Black,

Kerstin Fletcher - Sonoma County Artist

I enjoy drawing and painting in all mediums. From pencil to pastel, watercolor, acrylic, or oil, I thrive on capturing light and life. I can be found outside at sunrise painting “en plein air”, combining illustrations for a new story for my children, or capturing the sunlight on the curves of a child’s face on canvas with oil paint.  I was made to draw and paint and love to be challenged!

My paintings are currently hanging at Shoffeitt’s Off the Square in Healdsburg, CA and have hung in Santa Rosa restaurants, Finley Center, and Santa Rosa City Hall.  I have won numerous awards including Best of Show, Best of Medium (oil, acrylic, and watercolor), and numerous 1st Place, 2nd Place, and 3rd Place ribbons at the Sonoma County Fair and Sonoma County Harvest Fair.  The biggest challenge in the past year has been the Tubbs wildfire that claimed my home and studio, as well as all my art supplies, inventory, and numerous paintings.
